The best I ever had

It's generally customary not to take restaurant advice from a hobo or a backpacker (or a hobo backpacker), which is why I've always avoided taking restaurant advice from the Lonely Planet writers. For food I consult Frommers, and last night they did not disappoint. Amorio, in the Bellavista neighborhood, is classified as contemporary Chilean (whatever that means). But it was amazing, starting with our delicate pieces of octopus to our "asado de tiro estofado". The waiters were super friendly and let us practice our Spanish. That Spanish basically consisted of ordering "agua sin gas" and asking for the check. What fun!!
